In 2018, the Monster Mash 5K Bash at The Carson Center made its Spooktacular debut. Last year, we had over 150 costumed runners and walkers! This year, The Carson Center’s Annual Monster Mash 5K Bash and 1 Mile FUN Run/Walk will take place on SATURDAY, October 28 at 9 AM!

(Please note that this event was previously scheduled for October 8. It has been rescheduled for October 28. If you previously registered, your registration will be good for the new date.)

Get ready for frights, festivities, and fun for the whole family! Come dressed in your Halloween best (costumes encouraged but not required!) After the run/walk, all monsters will be treated to Halloween Treats! Enjoy “franks” and “steins” after the race; one hot dog and beer or soda are included with your registration. Additional drinks and snacks may be purchased on the day of the race.

Proceeds from the event support arts-education programming for children, youth, schools, and families throughout the Four Rivers region at the Carson Center.

RACE DAY EVENTS

The race course for the 5K run and the 1M walk begins and ends at The Carson Center in downtown Paducah, located at 100 Kentucky Ave. Paducah, KY 42003.

Registration and Pricing

Early registration is open! Early registration is $25 for the 1 mile fun run and $40 for the professionally timed 5K.

Registration begins at 8 AM on race day. The costume contest will take place at 8:30 AM. Prizes will be given to the best dressed in the following categories: children under 10, children 11-17, adults 18 and up, and best duo/group costume.

Day-of registration will be available for $30 for the 1 Mile Fun Run and $45 for the professionaly timed 5K. Registration for children 10 and under is always $25. If you previously registered for the original date of 10/8, your registration is recorded and will be good for this new date of 10/28.

Chip Bib and Timing

The race begins at 9:00 AM for 5K runners and walkers and 9:15 for 1 MILE Fun Run and Walk participants. The 5K is a professionally timed event. Chip bib timing is available for all 5K participants. Each runner's bib will record the exact time they start and finish the race! The race course is a flat race course throughout beautiful downtown Paducah, perfect for seasoned runners and beginners alike. Strollers and Dogs on leashes are welcome!!!

The CHIP BIB is a souvenir and can be kept by the runner! Each participant will also receive a Monster Mash T-Shirt and a Carson Center Water Bottle.

Packet Pick Up

PACKET PICK UP
Friday, October 27, between 3 and 6 PM at The Carson Center, 100 Kentucky Ave. Paducah, KY 42003. You may also pick up your packet the day of the race beginning at 8:00 AM.
