The Carson Center for the Performing Arts is seeking a qualified marketing strategy coordinator to elevate the Carson Center brand and all public-facing events. The person hired for this position will report directly to the Director of Programming & Booking, and will work in tandem with the Social Media & Content Creation Coordinator to develop, implement and oversee a highly effective marketing strategy for the Carson Center brand and each public-facing event that comes into the building.

Social Media & Content Creation Coordinator

The Carson Center for the Performing Arts is seeking a qualified content creator and social media coordinator. The person hired for this position will be responsible for creating digital and print content to promote the Carson Center brand and all public facing events. The ideal candidate will have proficient graphic design skills, keen attention to detail, ample experience developing engaging content for social media, superb prioritization and time management skills, the ability to work well in a team, and the ability to turn content around quickly.

Technical Director

Position: Full Time Salaried
Reporting to the Executive Director and the Director of Operations & Production, the Technical Director (TD) will lead the planning and execution of technical production operations for Broadway tours, concerts, rentals, educational programming, and community events throughout The Carson Center. This position serves as a key liaison between artists, touring production staff, Carson Center personnel, and IATSE Local 421, ensuring productions are executed safely, efficiently, and according to established production requirements.
Position Overview
The Technical Director is a key member of The Carson Centers Staff, responsible for leading technical operations and ensuring the safe, efficient, and professional execution across the venue. This role requires advanced skill and hands-on experience in theatrical carpentry, rigging, and stage operations with a strong focus on crew leadership, client interaction, and safety compliance.
Working closely with visiting productions, internal departments, and local crews, the Technical Director develops and oversee technical schedules that prioritize human relations, ensuring adequate rest periods between shifts and minimizing consecutive long-day cycles to maintain crew safety, work-life balance, and morale. The TD will act as a bridge to advocate for sustainable work hours. This position oversees technical logistics, verifies scenic and rigging integrity, and ensures all backstage operations reflect The Carson Center’s core values.

Position: Event-Based Housekeeping/Event Labor

Event-Based Housekeeping/Event Labor Building Services Associate. We are looking for dedicated individuals who can handle basic cleaning duties and assist in manual labor tasks such as setting up tables and chairs for events.
- Perform cleaning tasks before, during, and after events to maintain a clean and organized venue.
- Set up tables and chairs according to event requirements and layout plans.
- Assist with general manual labor tasks as needed for event preparation and cleanup, including administrative offices, bathrooms, and other venue areas.
- Ensure the venue is presentable and ready for events in a timely manner.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in housekeeping, event setup, or related fields is preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as needed.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to work.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event and non-event schedules.

The ideal candidate has previous security, customer service, military, law enforcement, or related experience. Experience in live events, performing arts venues, arenas, hospitality, or public-facing environments. Strong observation skills and attention to detail. Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations. As well as, excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
