Director of Advancement

The Director of Advancement leads the Carson Center’s efforts to lead and grow contributed revenue and strengthen long term philanthropic support. This role oversees strategy and execution across individual giving, major gifts, corporate sponsorships, grants, and community partnerships.
Reporting directly to the Executive Director, the Director of Advancement works closely with board members, donors, sponsors, and community leaders to cultivate meaningful relationships that support the Carson Center’s mission and financial sustainability.
This position is both strategic and hands on. The Director manages a personal portfolio of donors and prospects, leads fundraising initiatives, and builds the systems and practices necessary for consistent philanthropic growth.

Production & Technical Services Manager

The Production & Technical Services Manager oversees the technical planning, advancement, and execution of performances and events at The Carson Center. This role bridges touring production management and in-house technical operations, ensuring that all events are delivered safely, efficiently, and professionally. This position works in partnership with the Technical Director to support the successful execution of performances, rentals, and special events across the facility. The role advances shows, coordinates technical requirements with touring productions, supervises stage crews and labor calls, and ensures that stage and production systems are properly prepared for each event. The Production & Technical Services Manager also works closely with the Chief Operating Officer and other Carson Center departments to ensure that production planning, scheduling, and event execution are aligned across the organization from load in through load out.

Patron Services Associate

Department: Box Office Assistance

The Patron Services Associate supports the daily operation of The Carson Center Box Office. This part-time position will report directly to the Box Office Manager. This role serves as a primary point of contact for patrons and plays an important part in delivering a positive guest experience before, during, and after events.

Tessitura Proficiency (CRM and Ticketing Software) is strongly preferred. Candidates with prior box office experience will receive training to become proficient in Tessitura and its uses across Carson Center operations.

Building Services Associates

Immediately Hiring Multiple Candidates

Position: Event-Based Housekeeping/Event Labor

Join our team at The Carson Center, a vibrant hub for cultural events and performances, as an
Event-Based Housekeeping/Event Labor Building Services Associate. We are looking for dedicated individuals who can handle basic cleaning duties and assist in manual labor tasks such as setting up tables and chairs for events.

  • Perform cleaning tasks before, during, and after events to maintain a clean and organized venue.
  • Set up tables and chairs according to event requirements and layout plans.
  • Assist with general manual labor tasks as needed for event preparation and cleanup, including administrative offices, bathrooms, and other venue areas.
  • Ensure the venue is presentable and ready for events in a timely manner.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in housekeeping, event setup, or related fields is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as needed.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to work.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event and non-event schedules.
