JUST ANNOUNCED - The Simon and Garfunkel Story is coming to The Carson Center on March 3! The immersive concert-style theater show chronicles the amazing journey shared by the folk-rock duo, Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel. It tells the story from their humble beginnings as Tom & Jerry to their incredible success as one of the best-selling music groups of the ‘60’s to their dramatic split in 1970. It culminates with the famous “The Concert in Central Park” reunion in 1981 with more than half a million fans in attendance. SECURE YOUR SEATS THIS WEEK! JUST ANNOUNCED - COMEDY OPENER FOR CRAZY TRAIN ON HALLOWEEN NIGHT Laughs are on the docket for The Carson Center's Ultimate Halloween Party starting tomorrow at 8:00PM! Chris Cyr, a St. Louis-based comedian will open for Crazy Train, America's Ozzy Tribute. Chris Cyr is a nationally touring stand-up comic, playwright, and former co-leader of Zombie Squad, a nationwide organization dedicated to educating the public about the dangers of a zombie apocalypse. Chris approaches comedy with a storyteller’s sensibilities and an absurdist point of view. He’s performed with some of his favorite comics, including Marc Maron, Alonzo Bodden, and others, and has appeared on NPR and The History Channel. Chris has also performed at festivals around the country including Limestone Comedy, Altercation Comedy, and Asheville Comedy Festival, as well as conventions like Dragon*Con and ComicCon. Meet Shane McAnally - opener for Walker Hayes concert on Nov. 6! McAnally is a four-time Grammy Award-winning songwriter and record producer with over 50 No. 1 songs to his name, including Walker Hayes' "Fancy Like". McAnally is also the founder of SMACKSongs, a powerhouse publishing, digital, and management company whose roster has scored nearly 80 top 10 country radio hits. In addition to managing Hayes, McAnally has written and produced songs for artists like Sam Hunt, Kacey Musgraves, Kenny Chesney, and Blake Shelton, and has been nominated for more CMA Awards than any other songwriter in history. On screen, he starred in NBC’s Songland, and on stage, he co-wrote the music and lyrics of the Tony-award winning Broadway musical Shucked. Across every project, McAnally continues to champion storytelling, country music, and underrepresented voices in the industry.
