Get ready to “Party for a Purpose” at the Carson Center’s biggest annual fundraising event on Thursday, May 11, 2023! Save money by taking advantage of the Early Bird discount through April. The sooner, the better on getting your table or tickets because this fun event always sells out. This party takes place throughout the Carson Center. Enjoy mixing and mingling with friends old and new as you enjoy a silent auction, live auction full of one-of-a-kind experiences, food from local restaurants and caterers, wine, champagne, bourbon cocktails, coffee, tea, and soft drinks. All these beverages and food are included in the cost of admission.
The “Purpose of this Party” is to raise money for the Carson Center, which is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit regional performing arts center. Approximately 35% of the center’s annual funding comes from fundraising events, contributions, sponsorships, and grants. While we love to fill this beautiful theater with generous ticket buyers, the price of the ticket does not actually cover the cost of a patron sitting in the seat to enjoy a performance. Additionally, when you buy tickets and tables – you support arts education for children and youth, performances for audiences of all ages, Broadway musicals, big-name concerts, and other performing artists and theatre groups from across our nation and around the world. Fundraising events and contributions help us to involve more schools and families from a range of socioeconomic backgrounds. Presenting sponsorships are available now.
The “Spotlight” Table for 10 is back and focuses attention on needs and opportunities in the Carson Center extended family. Examples may include schools serving low-income communities who bring children to Class Acts Education Series performances and learning activities when possible – but need some help to come to a show.
