Members Stand Side-by-Side...to Support Their Performing Arts Center.
Members of the Luther F. Carson Four Rivers Center stand side-by-side with friends, neighbors, and other caring people to support their regional performing arts center. Together, with gifts ranging from $50 to $2,500, Members give almost $100,000 to annual funding. Members make a big difference that is amazing, and essential.
The Carson Center is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit, regional performing arts center that opened in 2004 in Paducah, Kentucky. Ticket sales and other earned income cover 80% of the costs of presenting acclaimed performing artists, educating student audiences, keeping ticket prices as affordable as possible for all shows, and maintaining a spectacular 97,750-square foot facility.
The balance comes from people like you, as well as businesses, foundations, and public partners. Only with your help do we sustain one of the most beautiful, beloved, and beneficial performing arts centers in the nation.
The Carson Center provides a gathering place for the people of the Four Rivers region and beyond - attracting up to 140,000 people each year for performances and special events. Of these, more than 20,000 are preschool through high school students attending the daytime Class Acts Education Series each school year. (To date, that means half a million visitors - including ~ 125,000 students for the educational series!) Classes from public, private, and homeschools fill the Carson Center to experience the best educational shows available anywhere in the country. Some of the world's finest performers and musicians thrill audiences of all ages in our Broadway Series, Carson Series, and other great shows.
As part of a vibrant arts community, the Carson Center increases appreciation and understanding of the arts, and boosts regional economic development and tourism. While most of our audiences come from Kentucky, Illinois, Missouri, Tennessee, and Indiana - residents of more than 30 states purchase tickets season after season. Our mission is to enhance the quality of life of adults, teenagers, and children of the region by providing diverse programming that entertains, educates, and inspires for years to come.
As a Carson Center Member - new or renewing - you are a
vital part of
"mission success."
Thank you!
