Singer-songwriter Gordon Lightfoot's career spans more than five decades, producing 200+ recordings. “If You Could Read My Mind” was the breakthrough hit in the United States for Mr. Lightfoot, already popular in his native Canada.  His distinctive baritone voice is widely recognized from his recordings of his own songs.  Many famous singers have recorded songs written by Mr. Lightfoot. His style evolved from country/folk, to folk/rock, pop, and adult contemporary. Mr. Lightfoot performs 1960s classics such as “Early Mornin' Rain,” 1970s hits such as “Sundown,” and subsequent material with ease and credibility.
