POSITION: Box Office Ticket Seller

REPORTS TO: Box Office Manager

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

This position is part-time and event-driven; schedule will vary weekly, according to event schedule.  Applicants must be able to work days, nights and/or weekends. Applicants must have reliable transportation.  Duties consist of customer service and ticket sales.

DUTIES:

• Ticket sales (using Center’s computerized ticketing system) & Customer Service. (Phone & In-Person)
• Handles special projects as assigned by the Box Office Manager.
• Complete other duties and tasks as assigned by the Box Office Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:         High School Diploma or GED

Experiences:       Must have previous high-volume customer service experience

DEMONSTRATED SKILLS OR KNOWLEDGE:                                                                      

• Ability to operate personal computer and general office equipment.
• Ability to enter data, analyze and generate reports.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel programs.  Willingness to learn additional software as needed.
• Ability to efficiently organize detailed multiple tasks and projects. 
• Ability to present a positive image and communicate effectively: telephone, email and in person.
• Strong customer service experience including the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, other departments, clients, patrons, vendors, community leaders and the public.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations using a calculator.
